PROspiration #001: At Random Comics

Welcome to the very first episode of many posts that will help inspire you to be pro. It’s called “Prospiration.” Not to be confused with perspiration… that… is different. Anyway, check back weekly to find things that will not only entertain you, but will actually improve the quality of your life, your work, and basically anything else you want. I mean… I can guarantee you anything.

For this weeks PROSPIRING… Thing… I want to take a look at “At Random Comics.” This is just a little website ran by a guy named Ryan Mason, who just happens to do a really great job. Think of it like new comics from “The Far Side.” There are lots of comics out there, but few of them are consistently amusing, much less funny. At Random is a one in a million.

He posts several comics a week, which range from happy-go lucky to “Awwww….. That’s gross…” But one thing’s for sure, they are always funny.

How is this supposed to make you more pro? Well, friend, thank you for asking. These little one-liners are great for sparking ideas for movies, animations, and other projects. Not to mention that they’re very well drawn, so if you want to get better at drawing comics, study up. There are TONS and TONS of comics you can look at FOR FREE! Plus, you can buy the older ones in collections, which he has for sale (For cheap, i might add) on his site.
